"Life on Earth...

...is at ever increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster, such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus, or other dangers. I think the human race has no future if it doesn't go into space." - Stephen Hawking

Well that does sound serious but... you know what... physics, space, string/m-theory well they can be funny! I now present you, The Adventures of Sir Yarnenball: a pun-tastic parody of string theory fundamentals!

Sir Yarnenball the yarn-ball, you are a tricky fellow. You see, m-theory, formally known as string theory theorizes that particles of the universe are made up of vibrating strings, yet this is hard to envision when you think of such large pieces of matter and other scientific anomalies like black holes and anti-matter (matter's really cranky cousin who destroys matter as a whole, and you thought you had an awkward Christmas dinner...) Anyway, this cartoon is comprised of a yarn-ball who got news of this theory and consequently went on a huge power trip thinking string was the key to all the universe's mysteries. Still, as the underlying layers might dictate, all theories have opposition or holes, and Sir Yarnenball is about to experience the trials and tribulations of what its like to be a leading theory in the critical science world. Oh, will he ever learn?
